Veterinarians vaccinated 150 ostriches in the Moscow region

Employees of the veterinary department of the Moscow region examined and vaccinated 150 ostriches in 16 farms, reports the Podmoskovye Segodnya Internet publication with reference to the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
The head of the department, Sergei Voskresensky, noted that thanks to timely diagnosis, epizootic well-being is maintained in the region.
"Since the beginning of the year, experts have conducted 113 tests for ornithosis and 6,360 for bird flu," the minister added.
